Nigerian afrobeats sensation, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun has confirmed that his relationship with his British dancer, Cocainna has ended.
Mayorkun and Cocainna started dating in early 2023. They went public with their relationship in May of the same year. The couple shared several loved-up photos and videos on social media.
The ‘Certified loner’ crooner said he is currently single, stressing that he and Cocainna parted ways because their relationship didn’t work out.
Mayorkun made this known during a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show, hosted by reality star, Tacha. Mayorkun, however, said he is still cool with the UK dancer.
Tacha asked if the 29 year old was presently in relationship and he gave a negative response. Although the reason for Mayorkun and Cocainna’s breakup is unknown, he said, “Life happened”.
The revelation triggered massive reactions as fans thronged to comment section to share their thoughts. Many speculated that their break up iwas due to distance. Mayorkun is based in Nigeria, while Cocainna is based in the UK.
