Grammy Award-Winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid has revealed why he was unhappy at a recent he attended in the UK.
Recall in a previous post, Intel Region reported that Wizkid, the “Essence” hitmaker raises concern among netizens as many were not satisfied with his facial expression.
Yesterday, January 30th 2024, Wizkid made a notable appearance at the UK premiere of “Bob Marley: One Love” in London. Footage captured him confidently striding down the red carpet, striking poses for the paparazzi, and emanating a charismatic aura befitting a superstar. The scenes of his stylish presence swiftly circulated among enthusiasts.
“Bob Marley: One Love” is a movie detailing the life of legendary reggae singer and songwriter Bob Marley, from his rise to fame up until his death in 1981 and how his music and lyrical genius changed the world.
This development however makes Wizkid undergoes a deep reflection and by extension makes him miss his late mother, Mrs Dolapo Balogun who died on August 18th 2023 at age of 66.
Following the death of his mother, Wizkid organized a memorable burial party for her and since then has been in Nigeria.
The photos and video of Wizkid from the late “Bob Marley: One Love” resulted in many claiming that Wizkid looks old, unhappy and troubled.
Moment later, Wizkid via the insta-stories section of his verified Instagram page today, January 31st, 2024 reacted as he stated that he had lost himself since the death of his mother.
He wrote; “Look in the mirror didn’t feel myself,! mama left me and I lost myself! can wait to feel myself again! life of a soldier! military wit it!
“And I’m thankful you all going thru this phase with me, u seen me at my lowest now, when u see me back on my high, no complain.
Until then, I dey give slap away for free, so leave. Expensive pain.”
