Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has joined the growing conversation surrounding the leaked photos and videos allegedly linked to actor Alex Ekubo’s wife, sharing his thoughts on the controversy that has dominated social media.
Taking to his social media page, Yul suggested that there was no need for secrecy in the relationship, stating that people often worry too much about public perception.
According to the actor, trying to hide aspects of one’s personal life to avoid criticism is unnecessary because public opinion can never be fully controlled.
“He shouldn’t have hidden anything from anyone. It wasn’t necessary,” Yul wrote.
The controversial actor went on to encourage people to stop allowing fear of criticism dictate their decisions, stressing that judgment from others is an unavoidable part of life.
“People must learn to stop worrying about what people say. No matter what you do in life, people must talk. So leave them to talk. Leave blogs to blog. To be great in life, you must never make yourself small for anyone or any reason,” he added.
Yul’s remarks quickly sparked debate online, with many social media users sharing mixed reactions. While some agreed with his stance on living freely without fear of public scrutiny, others argued that celebrities are still entitled to privacy and should not be pressured into making every aspect of their personal lives public.
As discussions continue to trend across social media platforms, Yul Edochie’s comments have added another layer to an already heated conversation.
