A man has sparked reactions online after alleging that materials sold to him as granite were actually baked clay.
In a video shared online, he compared different samples and claimed the substance did not resemble genuine granite in texture or quality.
According to him, the material easily washed off on his hand and showed signs of being clay rather than real stone.
Demonstrating the difference, he said:
“You can see this is hard clay. Look at the way it washes from my hand. This is not granite at all. This one here is normal granite.”
He further alleged that some of the white construction materials being sold in the market may not be genuine granite but processed clay or low-grade substitutes.
The video has since triggered concern online, with many viewers questioning the quality and authenticity of construction materials available in local markets.
