Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has stirred fresh debate online after sharing a satirical post describing what she called the different categories of supporters of President Bola Tinubu.
The actress’ remarks quickly gained attention across social media, with many users reacting to her humorous but critical take on political loyalty and public expectations surrounding the current administration.
In the viral post, Jegede said there are “3 Types of Tinubu supporters,” grouping supporters based on what she suggested are their different mindsets and motivations.
According to her, the first category is “the ‘we don enter am’ group,” which she described as people who privately feel things are not working but continue showing support because of personal, social, or political ties they feel unable to leave.
Her second category was “the believers,” referring to supporters who remain hopeful that government policies will eventually produce positive results, possibly during another tenure.
The most controversial part of her post came with the third category, which she called “the delusional ones.” Jegede described them as people who, in her view, remain disconnected from current realities and jokingly suggested they should be remembered in prayers alongside people in psychiatric wards.
Her comments triggered mixed reactions online, with some users describing the post as satire and political expression, while others criticised the remarks as unnecessary and offensive.
